Scott & Stacey's Wedding

We had a wonderful time at Scott and Stacey’s wedding. They are a blast! And of course, we love working with their families. The day was filled with lots of sweet emotions and moments that made for the perfect photos. Of course, a beautiful bride (you looked good too Scott), an amazing location, and a busy dance floor all helped make our job so much easier.

Scott and Stacey, you guys are a wonderful couple that Justin and I have enjoyed getting to know. We look forward to getting together with you to go over the many photos from your wedding day! We will see you soon.

Congratulations!!!

Site Visit With Tyler & Shari

We had a wonderful time visiting with Tyler and Shari. They are getting married on the ever so popular date of 8/2/08 at the beautiful home and property where Tyler grew up. They have amazing views and Tyler says on a clear day you can see Diamond Peak. We had a great time scouting out all the perfect locations for their photos. Of course, we had to bring along our camera and snap a few photos. This photo is of them standing in the location of their ceremony. Amazing!
Tyler and Shari, we can't wait for your day!

Dave & Catherine's Wedding - Portland Embassy Suites

Dave and Catherine’s wedding was in Portland’s downtown Embassy Suites Hotel. The hotel provided a beautiful back drop for an elegant event. The set up was amazing, the food was fantastic, and the guests were a blast. Dave and Catherine hired some wonderful venders who were great to work beside. All Wright Music as the DJ, Hybrid Moon for video, and Geranium Lake Florist. And how much better does it get then a bride who is so excited about walking down the isle that she actually jumps on the bed! I can tell you that is a special moment. Yes, I have photos to prove it.

Dave and Catherine you are truly a loved couple. I have never heard so many people step up to toast a couple and give such amazing praises. Your wedding party was the best and a huge help. We were so thankful for all of Ken and Karen’s help along with the rest of the group. Thank you for allowing us to photograph your wedding. Hope you guys enjoyed your honeymoon in Puerto Rico.

This is just a few photos from the many moments of your day.

Scott and Stacey’s Engagement Photos at Western Oregon University

We couldn’t of been more lucky with the weather last Saturday. I thought we were going to be rained out but the rain stopped enough for us to gather some fun photos of Scott, Stacey, and the adorable Faith.
They met at WOU, so the grounds were the perfect place for there engagement photos. It was great to see so many of the places they once spent time getting to know one another. Stacey is the little sister of Adam, who’s wedding we photographed in July of 2006. It is always an honor to get the opportunity to work with a family for another wedding. And another plus Stacey’s family is really wonderful.
Scott and Stacey, we enjoyed wondering around campus with you guys. I do have to warn you I think Faith may of upstaged you! I can’t wait for your wedding!

Sean and Lindsey's Wedding at Reser Stadium, Oregon State University

Wow, what a great wedding and a wonderful couple. This is a couple who is really perfect together. Of course, how could Sean not adore Lindsey? She is a woman who loves football and will happily go duck hunting with Sean! A perfect match.

As for their wedding, it was a wedding photographers dream. O.K. at least Justin and mine! Their wedding was at Reser Stadium on the Club Level. So many fun places to photograph. Even the dressing rooms were wonderful. As you may be able to tell from the dress photo, they got ready in the suites overlooking the stadium.

The details were amazing and the ceremony was so sweet. Lindsey’s Aunt jumped up and down as she pronounced them Husband and Wife. Everyone was having a great time at the reception. Their dance floor was packed and went all night long. All and all it was a perfect day.

Sean and Lindsey, Justin and I had an amazing time at your wedding. You guys were so wonderful to work with and your families were great to us. I hope the day was even more then you dreamed because it really did turn out perfect. We took a record number of photos from the day. We can’t wait to show you the rest of the photos from your wedding.

Skyler's Senior Photos

Justin and I had the chance to photograph Skyler around the streets of Salem. We had a great time with him finding just the perfect spots to represent Skyler. Salem has some of the greatest alleys with all sorts of unique doors and signs. We got lots of unique images that show how fun Skyler is to hang out with. We see Skyler again in the spring to shoot some more senior photos. The next session will be a Mom’s choice session. She will pick the cloths and location. Doing two sessions is a great idea that allows us to capture a senior the way they are when hanging out with friends as well as the more traditional photos that will be framed and hung in the home for years to come.

I have to say, as I was photographing Skyler I was reminded about how much I love my job! It’s something I think about often but this time I thought I would share. It is so much fun photographing people just the way they are and creating images that truly show who that person is during that point in their life. It may be a child seeing new things for the first time, a new family with the laughter of new little ones, a teenager growing into an adult, a newly married couple glowing
with love, or an older couple celebrating 50 years glowing with pride and admiration for one another and I get to capture it all. Wow, it is truly an honor and I thank everyone who lets me capture these moments in their lives. I truly do have a good reason to love my job.

O.K. back to Skyler. I hope you enjoy the photos. We will be seeing you soon to go over your proofs. And thank you for reminding me of why I love what I do.
